Internet Music Sites:
Sign-Up Pages for Artists

Renegade Report Newsletter
The swarms of Internet music sites you can upload your music to can overwhelm you.

I've created this page to thin out the information a bit and hopefully help you hone in on the best music sites for your music. You'll find the list below only contains sites which have clear artist sign-up pages.

You'll also find a link to the sign-up page for each of the music sites listed below. I will continue to expand this list when new Internet music sites cross my radar.

I trust you'll find the current list helpful!

All the best,
Marius

iLike.com

iLike.com is a social music site which allows users to, yip, you guessed it, share music!

You can, as an artist, post your tracks, videos and photos to access potential tribe members who use iLike.

You'll also get some useful stats along with a few nifty social media integration tools for Facebook, Twitter and other social sites.

You'll find the artist sign-up page for iLike.com here.

You'll find the band registration page for Project Opus here.

OurStage.com

OurStage.com say they can connect you with major industry players, give you access to gigs and opportunities and also get you access to a community of fans.

You can sign up as an OurStage contributor on this page.

PureVolume

This music discovery site allows you to create a profile and stream your songs to the listener base. You can also allow free downloads of your tracks.

Visit the PureVolume Artist Sign-Up Page to sign up.

I've made a few videos about signing up with Reverbnation, LastFM, Myspace, Facebook and Twitter. Visit this page should you not be on these sites.

Feel free to suggest any internet music websites you believe should be on the above page using the contact form.

Two sites which I don't have any experience with that have been recommended to me as stable and worth having a look at are...

Lafango - Lafango

Alonetone - Alonetone

Soundcloud is of course another great service which I've written about for you here. Highly recommended!

What others have to say...

"Thank you for your help with our web strategy and social media presence. The integrated setup of the web site and our social profiles you helped us establish makes life so much easier. The buzz so far has been great and just keeps growing!" - Gareth, The Commercial Hippies / Nano Records thecommercialhippies.com

"As the owner of a music studio, I have found this site to be extremely beneficial to musicians at any stage of development. Way to go, Marius!" - Lynne, may-studio-music-lessons.com

"Marius has a very informative site on how to be a self-managing musician, and he takes the time to get back to you if you've got questions. He's a cool guy!" - Nate Maingard, Musician twitter.com/NateMaingard

"It refreshing in so many ways to find something that's the truth and not just some "sign here pay this and tomorrow you're famous" website!! Marius has lent direction in gray areas for The Brokekings and certainly its been the most honest approach in getting our brand from our hard-drive to our tribe's ears." - Cliff Barns, The Brokekings http://thebrokekings.bandcamp.com

"Yes, your site is great. I devoured all of it, watched all the Vids because you cover all the important current marketing strategies a band/artist should be doing. I totally agree with your angle on things, especially the way the old music biz paradigm is crumbling away and there are new ways for all of us Artists to empower ourselves." Paul Abrahams, The Reels
