RenegadeProducer.com Article Submission Guide...

I've created this site to empower independent music artists with quality information about the various aspects of their music-business-life. You can help this movement along with articles you contribute for the readers of this web site and receive exposure for your own web site.

I ask that you keep the following guidelines in mind...

- Write for the independent music artist and producer and offer practical information which he or she will find valuable and relevant. You can write about music equipment, composition, production, distribution, promotion, publishing and other topics which directly relate to the music-business-life of the independent music artists who read this web site.

- Write in a non-academic, conversational style, as you would speak to a friend. Keep sentences and paragraphs short because this makes it easier to read your article on the web. A great free e-book on writing for the web is Make Your Content Pre-Sell! which I highly recommend to all web writers.

- Include your bio with a link to your web site. I will not publish articles which promote any service or product in the body copy. The article must provide real value to independent music artists who read this web site. Promotions and pitches will end up in the waste bin.

- All content you submit must be your original work and must not be published on other web sites.

I reserve the right to reject articles which I deem unsuitable for this web site and to edit all accepted articles before publishing to correct any spelling and style issues and to optimize the page for my web site.

You can submit your article on this page.

Thank you for your contribution!

The buzz so far has been great and just keeps growing!" - Gareth, The Commercial Hippies / Nano Records thecommercialhippies.com

"Marius has a very informative site on how to be a self-managing musician, and he takes the time to get back to you if you've got questions. He's a cool guy!" - Nate Maingard, Musician twitter.com/NateMaingard

"It refreshing in so many ways to find something that's the truth and not just some "sign here pay this and tomorrow you're famous" website!! Marius has lent direction in gray areas for The Brokekings and certainly its been the most honest approach in getting our brand from our hard-drive to our tribe's ears." - Cliff Barns, The Brokekings http://thebrokekings.bandcamp.com

"Yes, your site is great. I devoured all of it, watched all the Vids because you cover all the important current marketing strategies a band/artist should be doing. I totally agree with your angle on things, especially the way the old music biz paradigm is crumbling away and there are new ways for all of us Artists to empower ourselves." Paul Abrahams, The Reels
